Nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas, Stephen F. Austin State University uniquely offers the experiences of a large state school combined with the advantages of a small campus. Our School of Music is comprised of nearly 500 majors and is committed to providing undergraduate and graduate curricula with a wide variety of musical opportunities designed to prepare students to confidently begin or continue careers in Music Education, Performance, Sound Recording Technology, and Composition. We proudly boast a 100% job placement rate with our graduating Music Education students, and strive to continue this tradition of excellence.
